I WAS BAPTIZED YEARS AGO, DOES THAT
MEAN THAT I AM SAVED?
Jesus is very clear in Mark 16:15-18 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. “HE THAT BELIEVETH” “AND IS BAPTIZED“ “SHALL BE SAVED“; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow “THEM THAT BELIEVE“; “IN MY NAME“ shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Some would say, well that settles it; I was baptized and I believe, I am saved and going to heaven. Is that really the case though? Let’s examine the scriptures to find out.
How were you baptized? If you were baptized according to Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, then we really need to understand that even though Jesus Christ Himself spoke these words, He was speaking in a parable.
Jesus said, baptizing them in the name, the one single name, the name of the Father, and the name of the Son, and the name of the Holy Ghost. Jesus DID NOT say to baptize in the TITLES of the name; BUT IN THE ONE SINGLE NAME of the Father, THE ONE SINGLE NAME of the Son and THE ONE SINGLE NAME of the Holy Ghost. That one NAME IS JESUS CHRIST.
We already know that the Son’s name is Jesus.
John 5:43a “I am come in My Father’s name“. His Father’s Name is Jesus.
John 14:26a But the Comforter, which is “the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in My name“ The Holy Ghost’s Name is Jesus.
Therefore one would have to conclude that since there is one name to be baptized into, that name would be Jesus Christ, according to scripture.
1 John 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and “these three are one“. To be clear, we just read that the Father, the Word {the Son Jesus} and the Holy Ghost ARE ONE. It would only make sense that there would be ONE NAME for ALL three titles.
“The Word” is Jesus Christ according to scripture…
1) John 1:1c “and the Word was God”
2) John 1:14a And “the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us”
3) Revelation 19:13b “and His name is called The Word of God”
Another reference is that Jesus said in John 10:30 “I and my Father are one“.
There is ONLY ONE NAME above EVERY NAME… Philippians 2:10-11 That at
“the name of Jesus” every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that “Jesus Christ is Lord” , to the glory of God the Father.
Romans 14:11 For it is written, As I live, saith “the Lord“, every knee shall bow to Me, and every tongue shall confess to God. Jesus is God. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and “the Word was God“. We already showed you that Jesus Christ is, “the Word of God“.

Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
We just read in the Written Word of God that there is ONE BAPTISM, Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, ONE BAPTISM.
What is that ONE baptism? Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and “be baptized every one of you in the Name of Jesus Christ“ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 2:41a Then they that gladly received His word were baptized.
Acts 19:2 He said unto them,"Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost". Acts 19:3 And he said unto them,"Unto what then were ye baptized"? And "they said, Unto John's baptism". Acts 19:4 Then said Paul, John verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people, that they should believe on Him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. Acts 19:5 "When they heard this, THEY WERE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS".
They clearly understood the necessity of being BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD JESUS, even though they had already been baptized by John the Baptist!!! Acts 1:5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.
Romans 6:3-4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into His death? Therefore we are buried with Him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
Galatians 3:27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.
WHEN ONE IS BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE FATHER, AND THE SON AND THE HOLY GHOST, THERE IS NO NAME USED, ONLY TITLES!!! THEREFORE YOU ARE NOT BAPTIZED INTO JESUS CHRIST!!! YOU ARE BAPTIZED INTO RELIGION!!!
- Acts 2:38 “be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ”
- Acts 8:16 “they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus”
- Acts 10:48 “he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord“
- Acts 19:5 “they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus”
- Acts 8:12 “the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized“
- Romans 6:3 “were baptized into Jesus Christ“
1 Corinthians 6:11b …but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, “but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus“, and by the Spirit of our God.
1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
It’s all about the Name of Jesus!
Colossians 3:17 And “whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus“, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.
- Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call “His name JESUS“: for “He shall save His people” from their sins.
- John 20:31 But these are written, that ye might “believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God“; and that “believing ye might have life through His Name“.
- Matthew 12:21 And “in His name“ shall the Gentiles trust.
- John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to “them that believe on His name“.
- John 2:23 Now when He was in Jerusalem at the passover, in the feast day, many “believed in His name“, when they saw the miracles which He did.
- Acts 3:16 And “His name” “through faith in His name“ hath made this man strong, whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by Him hath given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all. {“Jesus’ name has healed this man—and you know how lame he was before. Faith in Jesus’ name—faith given us from God—has caused this perfect healing.}
Ephesians 5:20 Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Hebrews 3:15 While it is said, To day if ye will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

I pray this email will encourage you, and keep your path strait in your walk with Jesus.
I’m a YouTube subscriber of yours, enjoy watching your videos, and I wanted to write to you both in response of your latest article.
I thank God for your passion, and believe you love the word if God, however, In being obedient to 2 Tim 3:16, and 2 Tim 2:15, the article and related video about REPENTANCE UNTO SALVATION is very troubling.
With love, you must know there are many doctrine issues, but they can be easily corrected by learning right division of God’s truth (2 Tim 2:15):
2Ti 2:15 – Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth
Right division allows us to identify WHO is writing, WHO is being addressed, WHAT is the letter about, WHEN was it written, etc. These are crucial practices we use every day in our day to day activities, yet, many fail to apply them when reading the Bible.
This is a command for us, given to our apostle Paul from Jesus.
If we want to grow in our walk with Jesus and we want to be obedient to Him, we must allow the Holy Spirit (which we recieve the moment we believe 1 Corinthians 15:1-4 according to Eph 1:13) to show us right division.

We both appreciate your concern, but let me assure you, we do fully understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. We are also very aware that we have to know to WHOM is being spoken to, WHO the author is, WHAT the letter is about and WHEN it was written in the Word of God. We, through the power of the Holy Ghost rightly divide God’s Written Word.
Having said that, we DO NOT FOLLOW men or man’s teachings, I was truly hoping that you in particular would receive the TRUTH because you obviously believe that you DO NOT need to be baptized in order to be to be saved and receive the Holy Ghost, you have posted many comments that have led me to that conclusion. That is denying Jesus as I said in the video.
We follow Jesus Christ and Believe God’s Written Word and are taught by the Holy Ghost, not by what man teaches. Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.
According to God’s Written Word, we are to be taught by the Holy Ghost not by man as quoted in 1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. and in John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. So you see, we will not accept anything that the Holy Ghost does not teach. The Holy Ghost teaches Baptism in the Name of Jesus Christ; religion and false teachers deny baptism as necessity for salvation. We will Not compromise God’s Word to appease anyone.
We DO NOT take God’s Word lightly and know who we are in Jesus Christ. I warned you from the beginning of the video that some people would not like what they heard and you evidently did not like what you heard and it troubled you. However, we will not go against God’s Word to please anyone. What I said in that video is the TRUTH and in context, if you have a problem with what we presented straight from God’s Word, then that is between you and Jesus.
Ephesians 4:4-6 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling; One Lord, one faith, one baptism, One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
Those of us that have the Holy Ghost are in one mind and one accord. Philippians 2:2 Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Romans 15:6 That ye may with one mind and one mouth glorify God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Paul said to mark them which cause division and contrary to the doctrine. Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them.
Again, we do appreciate your concern, but will continue to preach, “The Gospel”, NOT “a gospel” to please men. It’s going to be hell for those that don’t share the TRUTH in God’s Written Word. Galatians 1:8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
In Jesus Name we ask that you are not this person spoken of in 2 Timothy 3:7 Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Actually, Jesus was sent ONLY to share the gospel with the Jews according to scripture. Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Jesus commanded the same thing of the Apostles. Matthew 10:5 These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not: Matthew 10:6 But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
However Jesus did make a point to say this in John 10:16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd. The Gentiles are the other sheep that Jesus was speaking of. Matthew 12:21 And in His name shall the Gentiles trust.
Romans 11:25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
Until the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, it was unlawful for the Jews to associate with the Gentiles according to the Law of Moses. Acts 10:28a And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company.
Paul was sent to the Gentiles, Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel.
Peter also was sent to Cornelius after Jesus showed him the vision of the sheet with four corners in Acts 10. Acts 10:28b …but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean. Acts 10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts 11:1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.

What you believe doesn’t make me angry. It does make me sad though for Christ’s sake, and for you too. I’m just doing my job according to what the Bible says, and what God says he expects of me:
Eph 3:9 – And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:
The Bible also says to use scripture to prove ALL things, don’t you agree?
1Th 5:21 – Prove all things; hold fast that which is good
2Ti 3:16 – All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness
I see a critical error you are making, and if I didn’t care, I wouldn’t bother alerting you.
QUESTION: If you know how to rightly divide the word of truth, then why are you mixing Israel’s program of ‘faith plus works’, with Paul’s ‘faith in Christ alone apart from works’?
QUESTION: Why take the old testiment doctrine of the water baptism message that Peter and John preached to the Jews (before Paul was even saved, and wrote Romans thru Philimon), and improperly ADD water baptism to the gospel of salvation that Paul wrote to the gentiles?..
Please read the following verses about HOW JESUS says we are saved, and show me where our sins are washed away by our works of getting baptized..

..which was written AFTER Matt, Mark, Luke, and John..even Peter in acts 2?
If gentiles MUST be saved by water baptism, then why did Jesus need to shed His blood for the blood atonement?
Why did God not include water baptism in what Jesus said was Paul’s gospel of salvation to us in this day and age?
I absolutely do believe we don’t need to be baptized to be saved. I believe this because thats what the Bible says.
We receive the holy spirit the moment we believe in Jesus death, burial, and resurection on the cross, NOT after we get our hair wet:
Eph 1:7 – In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
The Bible says we are not saved by works. We are saved by Jesus death, burial, and resurrection for PAYMENT IN FULL for the for washing of our sins.

God’s Word tells us in 2 Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established. I and my husband, which is present with me is a second witness and you make three.
• First time, you denied that baptism is necessary for Salvation after you saw the video, “REPENTENCE UNTO SALVATION”
• Second time, you denied that baptism is necessary for Salvation when I responded to you, as noted above.
• Third time now, if you don’t believe God’s Written Word, that baptism is necessary for Salvation, I am finished.
God’s Word says this in Mark 6:11 And WHOSOEVER SHALL NOT RECEIVE YOU, NOR HEAR YOU, WHEN YE DEPART THENCE, SHAKE OFF THE DUST UNDER YOUR FEET FOR A TESTIMONY AGAINST THEM. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.
John 12:48 He that rejecteth Me, AND RECEIVETH NOT MY WORDS, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.
We know and BELIEVE that God’s Written Word is the final authority and is inspired by Jesus Christ Himself and of the necessity to prove all things.

Peter was speaking to Cornelius, a Gentile. What part of “HE *COMMANDED* THEM TO BE BAPTIZED IN THE NAME OF THE LORD” do you NOT comprehend?

THE QUESTION TRULY SHOULD BE, WHY ARE TAKING AWAY FROM THE GOSPEL AND DENYING THAT BAPTISM IS NECESSARY FOR SALVATION.

OUR RESPONSE: We were purchased with His Blood according to God’s Written Word.
Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, WHICH HE HATH PURCHASED WITH HIS OWN BLOOD.
1 Corinthians 6:20 FOR YE ARE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.
1 Corinthians 7:23 YE ARE BOUGHT WITH A PRICE; be not ye the servants of men.
THE PRICE WAS HIS BLOOD!!!
4. GRANT asked… Why did God not include water baptism in what Jesus said was Paul’s gospel of salvation to us in this day and age?
OUR RESPONSE: First of all Grant, Where did Jesus say anything about “Paul’s gospel of salvation”? We have NEVER read anywhere in God’s Written Word about “Paul’s gospel of salvation”, Paul does refer to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and Him crucified as “my gospel” in the following three verses, but, that doesn’t make it “Paul’s gospel of salvation”. Paul says this because false gospels are preached.
• Romans 2:16 In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to “my gospel”.
• Romans 16:25 Now to him that is of power to stablish you according to “my gospel”, and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world began,
• 2 Timothy 2:8 Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to “my gospel”:
There is ONLY ONE GOSPEL, 1 Corinthians 1:23 But WE PREACH CHRIST CRUCIFIED, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness.
Paul said in Galatians 1:8 But though WE, OR AN ANGEL FROM HEAVEN, PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT WHICH WE HAVE PREACHED UNTO YOU, LET HIM BE ACCURSED.
Galatians 1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, IF ANY MAN PREACH ANY OTHER GOSPEL UNTO YOU THAN THAT YE HAVE RECEIVED, LET HIM BE ACCURSED.

***WHY DOES PAUL THANK GOD THAT HE BAPTIZED NONE OF THEM THAT HE WAS SPEAKING TO? So that they couldn’t lie and say that Paul baptized them in his OWN NAME.

Paul personally baptized CRISPUS AND GAIUS, as well as THE HOUSEHOLD OF STEPHANAS, Grant. Why did Paul baptize them Grant? Because baptism is NECESSARY for SALVATION, Grant!!!

God’s Written Word says this about those that DO NOT BELIEVE and OBEY the TRUE GOSPEL. Galatians 1:6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: Galatians 1:7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ.

What does that describe Grant? It describes Baptism.

If God’s Written Word doesn’t make you believe that that baptism is necessary for Salvation, then nothing will change your mind. ONLY JESUS CAN OPEN THE EYES OF UNDERSTANDING!!!
Should we believe Grant’s understanding of God’s Word or should WE just Believe God’s Written Word? God’s Written Word says this in Acts 5:29 Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, WE OUGHT TO OBEY GOD RATHER THAN MEN.

DO NOT believe me, it’s my suggestion that All believe the word rightly divided. Let God be true and every man a liar.
The gospel that Jesus gave to the apostle Paul on the road to damascus shows us how to be saved, by BELIEVING in the DEATH, BURIAL, and RESURRECTION of Jesus Christ:
1 Corinth 15:1 – Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you THE GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1 Corinth 15:2 – By which also YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain;
1 Corinth 15:3 – For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, HOW that CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SINS according to the scriptures;
1 Corinth 15:4 – And that he was BURIED, and that he ROSE AGAIN the third day according to the scriptures:
It’s my prayer that you both will come to learn right division of scripture, and accept the free GIFT of what Jesus did on the cross at calvary be sufficient to your salvation, and rely on nothing else.
It’s about what Jesus did, for our works are of filthy rags.
