By: Chico and Debbie Jimenez

In order to understand the Written Word of God, we MUST be indwelled by the Holy Ghost, we must always recognize who is speaking and to whom the writer is addressing.  Is it to bring peace to the reader? Or is it a warning? A warning to who?

Most people have extreme fear and anguish when reading the Book of Revelation; many with good cause, because they are NOT true believers in Christ Jesus.  They are religious people that follow the world, they classify themselves as Christians, but believe the doctrines of men.  Jesus said in
Matthew 15:7-9 Ye hypocrites, well did Esaias prophesy of you, saying, This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.  But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Those people should be terrified when reading the Book of Revelation because the terrifying verses filled with judgment and the wrath of God do apply to them; the unspeakable fear and horror of things to come will be their own reality in the very near future.

FEAR NOT! There is good news and Blessed assurance for the chosen children of the Most High God, Jesus Christ; you should have no fear while reading the Book of Revelation because the wrath of God DOES NOT rest upon you, the chosen believer in Christ Jesus.

These are a few of the many verses that prove that we, the TRUE BELIEVERS have already been judged as righteous in God’s eyes.

  • Psalms 103:12   As far as the east is from the west, so far hath HE REMOVED OUR TRANSGRESSIONS FROM US.
  • Micah 7:19  He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and THOU WILT CAST ALL THEIR SINS INTO THE DEPTHS OF THE SEA.
  • Isaiah 43:25  I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for Mine own sake, and WILL NOT REMEMBER THY SINS.
  • John 3:18 He that believeth on Him is NOT CONDEMNEDbut he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
  • Romans 8:1 There is therefore now NO CONDEMNATION to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

In the Book of Revelation, John the author is penning the testimony of Jesus Christ; John is instructed to write to the servants of Jesus Christ.

Who are the servants of Jesus Christ? They are the chosen children of Jesus Christ, the ones that Jesus chose before the foundation of the world, the ones that believe His Written Word, the Forgiven. Ephesians 1:4-6 According as He hath chosen us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love:  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, To the praise of the glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved.

The True servants of Jesus Christ are His children; aka, brethren, saints, beloved, righteous, partakers of the benefit, called, chosen and faithful.

Ephesians 1:11-14 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who worketh all things after the counsel of His own will:  That we should be to the praise of His glory, who first trusted in Christ.  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in Whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise,  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.

Now that we know that the book of Revelation is written to the True Believers in Christ Jesus. Let us also understand that it is being written to us to inform us of the wrath that will come upon the ungodly, those that DID NOT believe the TRUE GOSPEL of Jesus Christ.

It also tells us that we, His saints will be coming back with Jesus to rule, reign and judge with Jesus Christ after the tribulation period for a thousand years.
1 Corinthians 6:2a Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world?  Revelation 20:6  Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the *first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years

This is confirmed in Revelation 2:26-27 And he that overcometh, and keepeth My works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of My Father.

And confirmed again in Jude 1:14-15 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of His saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

{*FIRST RESURRECTION – 1 Thessalonians 4:14-18 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.  For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:  Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words.}

We have the understanding and peace that Jesus Christ gave ONLY to those of us who are indwelled by the Holy Ghost.  Luke 8:10 And He said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.
1 Corinthians 4:1-2 Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God.  Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful.
The book of Revelation is full of mysteries.

Jesus DID NOT instruct John to write the Book of Revelation to us to fill His faithful believers with fear.  2 Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mindPsalms 34:4 I sought the LORD, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Jesus, through the power of the Holy Ghost gave us understanding so that we would have peace.  Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus

1 Thessalonians 1:4-5a Knowing, brethren beloved, your election of God. For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
1 Thessalonians 5:9-11 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.  Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with Him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

The True Believers in Christ Jesus will be Raptured at the end of the Book of Revelation Chapter 3.  The end of Revelation Chapter 3 is the end of the church age here on earth.  THE CHURCH is NOT mentioned after Revelation 3:22 until you get to Revelation 22:16 where Jesus confirms His testimony.

When we read Revelation Chapter 4 and 5, John is describing what he sees in heaven,  he sees us there.  Revelation 5:9-10 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation; And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.   Revelation 6 is when the first seal is opened, we are safe in the arms of Jesus at this time and forever more.

God always removes the righteous before destruction as demonstrated in the following verses.  2 Peter 2:4-9 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodlyAnd turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation of the wicked:  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)  The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.

Jesus Christ will keep His True Believers safe from the wrath which is to come upon the world. The wrath which is outlined in the Book of Revelation.
God’s Written Word confirms the BLESSED ASSURANCE for the BELIEVERS…

  • Luke 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
  • Revelation 3:10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
  • 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • 1 Thessalonians 1:10 And to wait for his Son from heaven, whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come
  • 2 Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished.
  •  2 Peter 2:18b … those that were clean escaped from them who live in error.
  • 1 Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
  • Malachi 3:16-17 Then they that feared the LORD spake often one to another: and the LORD hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before Him for them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon His name. And they shall be Mine, saith the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spareth his own son that serveth him
  • Psalms 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of ALL their troubles
  • Psalms 91:9-10   Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling

37559723_1719480888169193_56945807441526784_n1One more very important point; the seven churches that are spoken of in the Book of Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 ARE NOT seven different churches or denominations.  They are the ONE AND ONLY CHURCH that Jesus built, the Body of Christ Jesus.  Colossians 1:24b...for His body’s sake, which is the churchJesus said in Matthew 16:18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.  Jesus DID NOT say My churches, My denominations, My religions or My theology schools, He said, MY CHURCH.

There was one single doctrine intended to be taught in the seven different cities, but false teachers with false doctrines crept in and brought corruption to the perfect doctrine that Jesus had ordained, which are doctrines that are taught in religion today.

The same doctrine of Jesus Christ Crucified was supposed to be preached and believed on each and every city, but not all in attendance believed the TRUTH, hence Jesus was correcting their errors, letting them know that if they didn’t get it right, they would see His wrath.  He isn’t just warning the churches in those cities, He is warning us as a whole to stay away from false doctrine.

  • Jude 1:4 For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
  • 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.  And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.
  • Philippians 3:18-19 For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:  Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.

The Church of Philadelphia is the ONLY city in which everyone that attended believed exactly the same. They ALL believed the Perfect doctrine of Jesus Christ Crucified.  We the TRUE BELIEVERS are the Church of Philadelphia.

Paul wrote in 1 Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness.  Paul clarified what would happen if anyone preached another gospel in Galatians 1:8-9, But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed.  As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.

Again, many profess to be Christians, but they deny the Word of God!
Mark 8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of Me and of My words in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when He cometh in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,  Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Revelation 3:22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

This should fill your hearts and minds as chosen Believers in Christ Jesus with PERFECT PEACE; the PEACE of knowing that you WILL NOT have to face the wrath of God or the horrors written in this book.  Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to Me.

God The Father Requests The Honor Of Your Presence At The Marriage Supper of The Lamb

1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.

1 Chronicles 29:11  Thine, O LORD, is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine; thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all.
