SPREADING THE WORD WITHOUT SAYING A WORD MINISTRY BY: CHICO AND DEBBIE JIMENEZ
JESUS – LAMB OF GOD – THE MAN
WHEN YOU SEE JESUS IN THE TRUE LIGHT, AS HE IS DESCRIBED IN GOD’S WORD; WOULD YOU STILL DESIRE TO FOLLOW JESUS IF YOU MET HIM ON THE STREET TODAY??? Matthew 19:21 Jesus said unto him, If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.
IMAGINE THE MEN DEPICTED BELOW SAYING, “FOLLOW ME”, WOULD YOU FOLLOW ONE OF THEM???
Isaiah 53:1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed? ISAIAH IS DESCRIBING THE PHYSICAL, SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC APPEARANCE OF JESUS CHRIST IN ISAIAH 53:2-4. LET’S LOOK AT THESE VERSES AND SEE HOW JESUS REALLY APPEARED IN THE FLESH!!!
JESUS WAS HOMELESS
Isaiah 53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. ACCORDING TO THE WORD OF GOD, JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD AND SAVIOR WOULD BE CONSIDERED VERY UNATTRACTIVE!!!
ACCORDING TO GOD’S WRITTEN WORD!!!
Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men (Luke 9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.,HE WAS AN OUTCAST); a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: (Matthew 17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you?) and we hid as it were our faces from him (John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not., TURNED THEIR BACKS ON HIM); he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Isaiah 53:4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.Matthew 8:20 And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head.
Matthew 25:42 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me no meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink:
Matthew 25:43 I was a stranger, and ye took me not in: naked, and ye clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
Matthew 25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
Matthew 25:45 Then shall he answer them, saying, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye did it not to one of the least of these, ye did it not to me.
WHEN WE READ ISAIAH 53 TODAY, I THOUGHT OF THIS SONG FROM MY CHILDHOOD.
WE DO NOT PARTICIPATE OR PRACTICE THE PAGAN HOLIDAY OF CHRISTMAS!
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isaiah 53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth. Isaiah 53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken. Isaiah 53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth. Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. Isaiah 53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities. Isaiah 53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
