THE BIBLE DOES NOT CONTRADICT ITSELF!!!
CLEARING UP THE CONFUSION ABOUT READING THE WORD OF GOD

Spreading the Word Without Saying a Word Ministry
By:Chico and Debbie Jimenez

When we read God’s Written Word, we must first understand who is being spoken to, who is speaking and why it’s being said.  Is it written to the Believer, the Unbeliever, the Israelites (Jews from the Promise, Sarah) or to the descendants of Ishmael  (Jews from the Bondwoman, Hagar)?  These are all factors in understanding the Truth in Gods Written Word.

When Jesus is speaking in the Gospels, He is speaking to those of Jewish descent, both from the Promise and from the Bondwoman.  When the disciples are speaking after the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, they are speaking to both believers and unbelievers as well.

Always keep in mind, when the words Brethren or Beloved are used, ONLY the Believers in Jesus Christ are being spoken to.  Remember, 1 Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.  Since God IS NOT the author of confusion, then we know that satan is.

The FIRST Covenant, the Old Testament, The Law was between God and the man Abraham.  The SECOND Covenant, the New Testament, is between God the Father and Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God. This covenant has nothing to do with man.

Again, this covenant is present tense between God the Father and Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God.  Luke 22:42  Saying, Father, if Thou be willing, remove this cup from Me: nevertheless not My will, but Thine, be done.  1 John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.  1 John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

Strong’s Concordance definition of Covenant  1242. diatheke dee-ath-ay’-kay from 1303; properly, a disposition, i.e. (specially) a contract (especially a devisory will):–covenant, testament.

Jesus’ ministry was for the Jewish people only and He was speaking to the Jews ONLY,  Matthew 15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. (The Jews) Romans 9:4  Who are Israelites; to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants, and the giving of the law, and the service of God, and the promises.

Jesus also mentioned the Gentiles, but “His ministry” was specifically for the Jews. John 10:16  And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear My voice; and there shall be one foldand one shepherd.   These are the chosen Gentiles that Jesus is speaking of.

Now let’s delve deeper,  Romans 3:1 What advantage then hath the Jew? or what profit is there of circumcision? 3:2 Much every way: chiefly, because that unto them (The Jews) were committed the oracles (the Law) of God.

Romans 3:19 Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.

In the Gospels of the New Testament, the Old Covenant was still in effect because Jesus was still alive. Jesus was speaking to the Jewish people in the Four Gospels, because as long as Jesus had NOT YET been crucified, “Grace by Faith had not yet come into effect for those who believed on Jesus”.

After His Death, Burial and Resurrection the New Covenant came into effect.

Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises. 8:7  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second. 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: 8:9  Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord. 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

Galatians 5:1  Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Romans 8:1  There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Galatians 3:10 For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.  Galatians 3:13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:  Colossians 2:14  Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances (The Law) that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to His cross;  Romans 3:24  Being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:  Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

The Law (Ten Commandments) was for the Jewish people only. The Law was never meant for the Gentiles.  Romans 2:14  For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves.

Again, the New Covenant of the New Testament didn’t go into effect until after Jesus died and rose again on the third day.

Hebrews 9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. 9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.

Hebrews 7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof. 7:19  For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did (Jesus); by the which we draw nigh unto God. 7:22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
Hebrews 8:6 But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also He is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

From that day forward, the Jewish people that accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior were no longer under the Law, but under Grace by Faith. We as Gentiles were never under the Law, likewise when we accept Jesus Christ as “OUR Lord and Savior” we then live under Grace through Faith in Christ Jesus. Our Sin is as far as the East is from the West, in the depths of the Sea.

  • Psalms 103:12 As far as the east is from the westso far hath He removed our transgressions from us.
  • Micah 7:18  Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.  Micah 7:19  He will turn again, He will have compassion upon us; He will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea.
  • Isaiah 43:25 I, even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins.

Many people get confused by the fact that Jesus said, “Turn the other cheek”, “If thy right hand offend thee, cut it off” etc. He was talking to the people that are under the Law (the Jews), because they were under the Abrahamic Covenant (The Law). Jesus had not yet died.  Hebrews 8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.  8:8 For finding fault with them, He saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah.

What we must get into our Spirits, is that just because Jesus said it, doesn’t mean He said it to “US the Believer”!!! There are only two Commandments in the New Covenant (New Testament):  1 John Chapter 3:23 And this is His commandment, That we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.  God’s Commandments are clear and to the point.

Galatians 5:2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.   Galatians 5:3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law. Galatians 5:4  Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

We as TRUE BELIEVERS in Christ Jesus; those of us that are called and chosen by Jesus Christ, Himself and have been Baptized in Jesus Name, for the remission of our sin and have received the Holy Ghost have been made free. Acts 2:38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
We have the Blessed Assurance of His Promises.

DO NOT LET SATAN COME IN AND PUT DOUBT, FEAR AND CONFUSION ON YOU.
1 Corinthians 6:20  For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.  Ephesians 1:13  In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Ephesians 1:14  Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of His glory.  Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.  Romans 8:2  For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.

IF YOU REJECT THE TRUTH IN GOD’S WORD, YOU WILL ALSO BE REJECTED, Hosea 4:6  My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee.

2 Timothy 2:15  Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.  Romans 3:3  For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God without effect? Romans 3:4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
